Sister Wives star Gwendlyn Brown announced that she's finally married to her partner, Beatriz Querioz, whom she's been with for just over a year. Though Gwendlyn's parents, Christine Brown and Kody Brown, got a divorce in 2021, the breakdown of their nuptials didn't cause Gwendlyn any issue with her own. After appearing on Sister Wives for the majority of her formative years, Gwendlyn has been open about the toll it took on her mental health and her relationships with her parents and siblings. She watched and recapped the most recent season on YouTube, sharing how she felt about the show's portrayal of her family on the reality TV series.
Sister Wives' Gwendlyn Brown announced the news with an Instagram post, sharing a photo of the couple at their wedding. Kissing in front of a glowing neon sign that read, "The Querioz's", Gwendlyn captioned the photo, "Say hello to mrs (x2) queiroz". While the pair hasn't been quiet about their relationship, their wedding comes as somewhat of a surprise considering they only announced they were together in mid-2022.
While it's unclear who exactly was in attendance, it does appear that many of the Brown children did attend Gwendlyn's wedding. A photo shared on Gwendlyn's Instagram Story shows many of her siblings, as well as Christine's ex-sister wife, Janelle Brown, being in attendance.
Will Gwendlyn's Wedding Be Featured On Sister Wives?
While Gwendlyn and Beatriz are open about their relationship on the Internet, it's unlikely that their wedding will be featured in an episode of Sister Wives. As the series has continued on, it's become much less about the Brown family at large, and much more about the dynamics between Kody, Christine, Janelle, fellow ex-wife Meri Brown, and Kody's only remaining wife Robyn Brown. Their relationship, even post-divorce, has been fascinating to watch. Gwendlyn and Beatriz are far more likely to post footage on their own social media pages or on Gwendlyn's YouTube channel.
Gwendlyn, who has been open about her sexuality on Sister Wives and on her YouTube channel, has never been one to hide who she loves. Though it has presented some complications in her personal life, Gwendlyn was quick to share more about Beatriz and their relationship once her partner expressed that she was comfortable doing so. When Gwendlyn's sexual orientation was discussed on Sister Wives, she's explained that she was thrown for a loop, as she wasn't expecting to cover that topic on the series. Rather than talking about what she expected to with her parents, she found herself having a private conversation about herself in a public setting.
With Gwendlyn and Beatriz now married, there might be some curiosity over whether they could be featured more on the show, or less as a result of the change in their relationship. Though nothing is clear about their appearances during the upcoming Sister Wives season 18, it is possible that the pair could go either way. If they're interested in being on the show more, it's likely they'll have more moments with the family at large.
